Fuel Cells Hydrogen
Fuel Cells Hydrogen Generators Operate Quietly
Fuel Cells have the power to change our world.
Fuel Cells Hydrogen
This emerging technology is in direct competition with gas generators. The main advantage of fuel cells hydrogen technology is these types of generators operate quietly. This simple truth will have broad reaching safety and quality of life benefits as new fuel cell products hit the market.
How many times have you been annoyed at the thought of firing up that gas generator? Tired of looking for your earplugs? Just this year personally I was standing outside at the Christmas tree lot where a gas generator was being used to provide power for the saw to cut the trees. How many people were annoyed that day at the gas generator breaking the calm silence of a Saturday morning? I know I was.
On a similar note, how many communities across America have rules against contractors operating noisy generators during certain hours of the day? Imagine being a contractor which has a fuel cell generator and does not have to be afraid of working a little later at night on a particular jobsite to be able to finish the task at hand. To be able to avoid having to come back in the morning just to put in an hours’ worth of work on that site can be worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars. If you have ever had to have ten guys drive an hour each direction to a particular construction site you will appreciate the advantage of having a fuel cell generator at your disposal. Moreover, if you appreciate the time it takes just to set up and breakdown tools for the day, the thought of having the flexibility to work just a little later in some cases due to your power source not causing a noise disturbance will be of great value.
Additionally, safety in and of itself cannot be overlooked as a main reason to use a hydrogen fuel cell generator. The development of this technology immediately begs the question of whether or not OSHA will require this type of generator to be used exclusively at some point in the decades to come. If someone can hear someone yell “look out” to them and it can potentially save their life, then insurance companies which determine the rates on insurance policies at some point as well must take such considerations into account when determining the fees they will charge as the rate of accidents drop.
While I personally am not a hunter, I would imagine that people camping out in the wilderness would appreciate not have loud generators scaring away the deer, quail, or whatever the target of choice.
technology can also be beneficial in the movie industry. Imagine a producer at a remote location who can power his lights, cameras, and other needs without having to disturb his surroundings with noise pollution.
In general, how many events or parties have you been to where there is some noisy generator sounding off in the distance to power something which you don’t really know what it is, but you know it must be a necessary evil? Now imagine that to no longer be true.
One of the first things that comes to mind in addition to lights is the fact that bands can now perform almost anywhere without having to turn up the volume so loud to overpower the sounds of the generators.
The thoughts above are just the surface of how new developments in this rapidly developing field will shortly have a major impact in certain industries throughout the world. Assuredly, the true global impact is yet to be determined regarding the technology of
